POP! – THE COMIC CULTURE CLUB

YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN POP! – THE COMIC CULTURE CLUB MONDAY JULY 16th AT THE AKRON PUBLIC LIBRARY!

We are super excited to announce the very first meeting of the Akron chapter of Pop! - The Comic Culture Club. Our first meeting will take place July 16th at the Akron Public Library in conference room #3 from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

We plan to meet every third monday of each month. Each meeting will open with a discussion on current events in the world of comics followed by the main focus of the meeting, and conclude with a free raffle sponsored by your friendly neighborhood comic shop.

Our first meeting will focus on getting to know everyone by sharing an item from your personal collection that has special meaning to you. Whether it’s your first comic book, a toy or just a special memory you would like to share that motivated you to start reading comics.

The library is located downtown Akron at 60 S. High Street (http://www.akronlibrary.org/mainlib.html). Parking is free after 6pm in the parking-deck. The library and parking deck is directly across the street from the Akron Art Museum on High Street.
