at The North Canton Playhouse

 

Theatre Location:  525 7th Street NE // North Canton, OH 44720

 

Audition Information:  Open audition.  No appointment required.  Resume and head shot/picture are preferred.  Please come prepared with a dramatic or comedic monologue (optional).  Actors will read from the Script.  Bring a comprehensive list of conflicts to audience.

 

Synopsis:  While visiting an art museum, a nerdy college student named Adam meets an iconoclastic artist named Evelyn and is instantly smitten. As their relationship develops, she gradually encourages Adam to change in various ways that surprise his older friends, Jenny and Philip. However, as events progress, Evelyn's antics become darker and darker as her influence begins to twist Adam and his friends in hurtful ways. - Kenneth Chisholm

 

Characters:  2 Men and 2 Women – Playable early and late 20's

 

     Adam – an undergrad student

     Evelyn – a masters of art student, love interest of Adam 

     Jenny – a friend and past love interest of Adam 

     Phillip – a friend of Adam, fiancé of Jenny

 

Rehearsal and Performance Dates:  Rehearsal begins Tuesday, July 24 and will be held Monday through Friday Evenings between 6:30 and 11:00 Pm, and Saturdays (as needed) during the day.  Performances are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from September 7 to September 16; Fridays and Saturday at 8:00 Pm, Sundays at 2:30 Pm.
