Bitzer Park Tree Lighting Kicks off the Holidays

The city of North Canton put on its annual Christmas Sing and Tree Lighting ceremony at Bitzer Park Sunday. There were activities for kids young and old. The hosted Mrs. Claus for cookies and children's stories. Local businesses set up booths to give out candles and bells to guests.
Mayor David Held and President Doug Lane headed the ceremonies for the evening. The Hoover Hi-Lo's sang several songs before they joined the crowd in song welcoming Santa Claus.
