Where/When: Boettler Park in Green, 5300 Massillon Road; 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: Meet the Columbus Blue Jackets, ride in an astronaut simulator and meet Matthew Underwood from Nickelodeon's Zoe 101.

2. JOHN GALL AT THE BARREL ROOM

Where/When: ; 9 p.m.-midnight Friday
Why Go: The folks at the Barrel Room say Gall is a crowd favorite. And why would they lie? Check out the classic rock singer and sip an ale on the patio. Perfect Friday night.
Pricing: No cover

3. BETHESDA PERFORMS AT THE AURICLE

Where/When: The Auricle Live Music Venue, 601 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton; Doors open at 7 p.m. and the music starts at 7:30.
Why Go: The lead singer of Bethesda has a beautiful, sometimes operatic voice that just might put you in a trance! Don't believe us? Just take a listen to them on their Facebook page. Plus, the Auricle announced that the weekly dance party starts after the show. 
Pricing: $6 advanced tickets and $8 at the door. Those 21 and under pay a $2 surcharge.

4. MUSIC OF BEETHOVEN AND SHOSTAKOVICH

Where/When: Blossom Music Center, 1145 W. Steels Corners Road, Cuyahoga Falls; 8 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: Here's how the Blossom described the event: Conductor David Afkham makes his Cleveland Orchestra debut leading Beethoven's brilliant Third Piano Concerto with soloist Jon Kimura Parker, plus Shostakovich's biting, sinister, and satiric Tenth Symphony.

Where/When: Gervasi Vineyard, 1700 55th St. NE, Canton; noon-6 p.m. Sunday
Why Go: The Bellissimo Fine Art and Fine Crafts Show will feature talented local artists and artisans exhibiting their works for sale on Gervasi Vineyard's beautiful grounds.
