Whiz Kid: Gage Stanley Excels in Classroom, on Playing Field

This week's Whiz Kid comes to us from Vicki Stanley, mother of Gage Stanley —yup, and also the lady behind the New Work City Foundation.

• Gage turns 11 years old today.
• Attends as a fifth-grader.
• Not only is Gage an honor student, but he's a great athlete who plays soccer, basketball and hockey.

Gage's favorite sport is hockey. He's played community soccer for five years and loves being part of a team. Every year, his family installs an ice rink  in the back yard.

"So he gets lots of practice," Vicki said. "And with his four cousins living next door, they practically make a team."

"Gage is the bouncing ball of happiness and I love being his mom," Vicki said.
