Grab & Go Planner: It's All About What Dad Wants To Do

We have a number of fun ways to celebrate Father's Day weekend as a family, so read on

A classic car show, outside adventure, free admission to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and more — pick and choose from this weekend’s events especially for Dad.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK:

 1. North Canton Jaycees Fair

Find out what's happening in North Cantonwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

When/Where: The fair continues from 6 p.m.-11 p.m. today and Thursday and 6 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday at the Memorial Stadium Complex, 525 7th St. NE

Why Go: The annual event offers rides, games, food vendors, live entertainment and more. It is fun for the whole family!

Pricing: Prices depend on activities. There is no admission fee, however.

2. 13th Annual Cops & Rodders Car Show     

When/Where: 5 p.m.-9 p.m. Friday at Jackson Township’s North Park, 7660 Fulton Road, across from Jackson High School 

Why Go: Take Dad out to view a wide collection of classic cars, trucks, motorcycles and police vehicles. The show will feature hot rods and vintage automobiles. It is his weekend so take interest in his hobby! Click here if you have a vehicle you wish to register for the show.

Pricing: Parking and admission for the general public is free.

3. Summer Splash 

When/Where: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Walborn Reservoir, 11324 Price St., Alliance

Why Go: Take a little drive with the family and spend the day before Father’s Day having a blast together. Stark Parks invites all to this free activity. Enjoy kayaking and canoeing, pontoon rides, fishing, hiking and viewing bald eagles nesting.

Pricing: No charge

4. Smile! You and your camera are going places

When/Where: 10:30 a.m.-noon at the Plain Community Branch, 1803 Schneider St. NE, Canton

Why Go: Families attending this free program will learn how to go from taking OK pictures to taking great pictures. Please bring your own camera to this class. All children present will get to decorate their own photo frames as well!

Pricing: No charge, but registration is requested. Register online or by calling 330-494-3399.

5. Legendary Father’s Day 

When/Where: 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, 222 Market Ave. N, Canton

Why Go: Spend the day viewing football history and making memories together exploring "the greatest game ever played." Fathers receive a free gift as well!

Pricing: All dads get in free with the purchase of an adult or child admission ticket.
