A Christian music festival, princess picnic and art camp are taking place this week around the area

Why Go: The 24th Annual Christian Music Festival offers four days of non-stop concerts by top Christian recording artists and groups, as well as special speakers and unique opportunities for worship. 2. For Goodness Snakes
When/Where: 3 p.m.-4 p.m. Thursday at the
Why Go: Slither into the library with your children, kindergarteners up to fifth-graders, to learn about snakes. The presentation is courtesy of the Wilderness Center.

3. Princess Picnic in the Park
When/Where: Noon-2 p.m. at the Exploration Gateway of Stark Parks
Why Go: Girls, in kindergarten through fifth grades, can enjoy an afternoon of royalty at a fairy princess-themed party. The event features crafts, games, refreshments and a live performance.
Pricing: Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling 330-488-5611 or online through the Silver Star Youth Theater Company.
4. 3rd Annual Kids Fun Fair
When/Where: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the Guardian Angels Child Care Center, 9687 Portage St. NW, Massillon
Why Go: There will be pony rides, alpacas, carnival rides, games, snacks, a flea market, craft booths and more.
Pricing: Free admission
5. Wild West Kids’ Camp
When/Where: 10-11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday (July 1) at Pat Catans
Why Go: Children can make a “Wild West craft” daily to take home for the whole family to enjoy.
Pricing: $4 per day
