2. Summer Reading Club Kick-Off
When/Where: 1 p.m.-4 p.m. today at the Lake Community Branch, 11955 Market Ave. N, Uniontown, or 2 p.m. Thursday at the Main Library, 715 Market Ave. N, Canton
Why Go: Children of all ages are welcome to join a summer reading club of the Stark County District Library and attend the event that will have them traveling around the world right inside the library. There will be international music, games and crafts.

3. Vacation Bible School –
When/Where: 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. daily, Sunday to June 16, at of North Canton
Why Go: Children will learn and sing about Jesus and participate in games and crafts with others their age during this week-long event.

When/Where: The fair kicks off 6 p.m.-11 p.m. Monday and continues all week at the Memorial Stadium Complex, 525 7th St. NE
Why Go: The annual event will feature rides, games, food vendors, live entertainment, the princess pageant and more.

5. Flag Day Family Bike Ride
When/Where: 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Canal Fulton Canalway Center, 125 Tuscarawas St., Canal Fulton
Why Go: This Stark Parks’ activity is a good one for families with teenage children. All those who participate will enjoy a five-mile ride on the Towpath and Old Muskingum Trails.
