Grab & Go Kids Planner: Easter Fun

Enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny then head to an egg hunt, or select another exciting activity taking place Saturday

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Sid the Science Kid event, egg hunt in the park, Easter party at an area church and a family spring celebration — pick and choose from this Saturday’s array of highlighted events to do with the family.

1. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Where/When: 9 a.m. Saturday in the food court of the Westfield Belden Village Mall

Why Go: Children and their parents can enjoy a hot breakfast alongside the Easter Bunny and his friends. The breakfast is courtesy of Chick-fil-A.

Pricing: Tickets for the event are $3. Tickets are limited and can be purchased at the concierge in the food court or in the management office. For more information, call 330-494-5490.

2.  Sid the Science Kid Party

Where/When: 10 a.m. Saturday at the

Why Go: Families with children ages 3 to 6 are invited to a party to celebrate Sid the Science Kid, a hit cartoon show on PBS.

3. Jackson Township Easter Egg Hunt     

Where/When: 11 a.m. Saturday in North Park, 7660 Fulton Rd. NW, Massillon

Why Go: Crawlers up to children in fourth grade can participate in the township’s annual Easter egg hunt and visit with the Easter Bunny. Parents, be sure to bring baskets for your children so they can collect their eggs.

 Pricing:  Free

4. Easter Egg Adventure

Where/When: 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Maranatha Church, 1424 Killian Rd., Akron. The church is about a 10-minute drive from North Canton.

Why Go: Kids, 2 years old to fifth grade, can participate in activities with their parents at six different stations The activities include face painting, egg toss and roll, a skit and puppet show, an egg hunting adventure and more. Snacks also will be available.

5. Annual Springtacular Kids Event  

Where/When: 2 p.m. Saturday at  Books & Music

Why Go:  The whole family is invited to celebrate spring and new beginnings at the bookstore’s annual event full of activities and fun, especially for children ages 3 to 8.
