Get Out: Ice Skating, Alumni Socials and More

YStark! will host an ice skating event, Camp Tippecanoe an alumni social, and those are just two of the events for this weekend

Why Go: Mingle on ice! Ystark! gets young professionals together for networking events, and this one involves the whole family.

2. A WALK IN THE WOODS AT KATHLEEN HOWLAND THEATER

Where/When: 2nd April Galerie, 324 Cleveland Ave. N., Canton; 8 p.m. Friday.

Why Go: A Walk in the Woods tells the story of two Cold War diplomats who take breaks from endless arms negotiations with a walk in the woods outside of Geneva, Switzerland, where they learn much more than they bargained for.

Pricing: Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens, students with a school identification card and anyone presenting a public library card.

Where/When: , 6073 Dressler Road, North Canton; noon-5 p.m. Sunday.

Why Go: freshman Anna Spuhler will shave her head to raise money for and awareness of childhood cancer as part of the ninth annual St. Baldrick’s Event. Those at the restaurant can participate in silent auctions and raffles.

Pricing: Free, but patrons may donate toward Anna’s goal.

4. PINK NIGHTMARE: NEW ART FROM SCOT PHILLIPS

Where/When: Art Bomb Tattoos, 32 Erie St. N, Massillon; 7 p.m. Saturday-1 a.m. Sunday.

Why Go: Art Bomb Tattoos will donate all profits from alcohol sales to purchase art supplies for Massillon High School. Did we mention it’s free snacks and water and $2 High Life and Miller Life?

Pricing: Free.

Where/When: , 1346 Easthill St SE, North Canton; 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Why Go: Seems everyone around here is a supporter of Camp Tippecanoe (did you see the responses to our ?). See old friends, make new ones, partake in the cash bar and stay on the Field Crest grounds. (Only those 21 and over are invited.)
