Inaugural Stark County Day of Giving Marketplace Set for Saturday, Sept. 7 in Canton

CANTON, Ohio (Aug. 29, 2013)—The inaugural Stark County Day of Giving Marketplace, a one-day bargain sale to benefit low-income families and support area charities, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the business plaza at 3939 Everhard Rd. NW in Canton. The sale, in the former Amish World store location, will be open to the public between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

“Thanks to the generosity of business and individual donors, we will have a Marketplace full of quality items to sell at the lowest possible prices,” said Karen Shackelford, organizer of the event. “In addition to providing savings for those in need, the sale will raise funds to benefit The Granted Wish Foundation and the J.R. Coleman Adult Day Care Center, both based in Stark County, so everyone is welcome and encouraged to shop.”
