Not a good idea to go in at night. Coyotes.

A few of us pushed the definition of "dusk" to its outer-limits but we didn't see any coyotes. Have there been sightings? We did see a plentiful amount of beautiful bats, which we tried to photograph, but were unsuccessful. We did get some pictures of fireflies.

We saw a large white chicken while walking the trail a couple of weeks ago. It trotted across the path and into a clearing. We assumed it belonged to someone whose backyard is adjacent to the trail. Not quite what we expected to see, but interesting for the kids!
