The Hoover High School doubles team of Robert Yeary and Drew Griffing took home a trophy from the Towpath Tennis Center High School Doubles Invitational Tournament on Saturday. They defeated Wadsworth, Woodridge and Western Reserve. A total of 32 players formed the first and second doubles teams from various high schools in Northeast Ohio.
The doubles team of Timothy Bruin and Robert Cross won the consolation round after losing their first match to Copley. They then went on to defeat the No. 1 teams from St. Vincent/St. Mary and Woodbridge.
