Woman Leaves Ollie's Bargain Outlet With 'Purse Bulging' With Games: Crime Blotter

Someone stole about 20 video games valued at a total of $250 from Ollie's Bargain Outlet about 7:40 p.m. Jan. 10. According to the North Canton police report, the woman "entered Ollie's with an empty purse and exited with her purse bulging."
Several guns stolen from Clinton Avenue home
Someone stole a Derringer pistol, six semi-automatic pistols, two revolvers and a shotgun, all worth $3,759, from a home in the 1200 block of Clinton Avenue SE between noon and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 21.
Cellphone stolen on North Canton bus
Someone stole a $50 cellphone from a passenger on a North Canton City School bus between 2:30 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. Jan. 22. The police report listed the victim as a Uniontown woman in her 40s.
Burglar steals TV, Playstation and games
A 40-inch flat-screen TV, Sony Playstation 3 and two video games valued at $620 were stolen from a home in the 200 block of Rose Lane Street SE between 8:15 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Jan. 22.
Man steals razors, cigars from drugstore
A man walked out of the South Main Street Walgreens without paying for five Gillette razors and a pack of cigars, totaling $98. The theft took place at 11:23 a.m. Jan. 24.
Ex makes bogus Facebook account
A woman living in the 500 block of East Maple Street told police her soon-to-be ex-husband opened a bogus Facebook account last month using her name, photo and birth date. The incident was classified as identity fraud.
