1. CHILI OPEN GOLF CLASSIC / VIKING CHALLENGE RUN
Where/When: Fairways of North Canton; The Chili Open is at 9 a.m. Saturday, while the Viking Challenge Run kicks off at 2 p.m. that day.
Why Go: Did you hear? These Rotary Club of North Canton events are raising money for an amphitheater at Bitzer Park! Stop out and show your support!
Cost: $20 for golfers; $25 for runners
2. DROP-IN BROOMBALL AT CENTER ICE SPORTS COMPLEX
Where/When: Center Ice Sports Complex; 8:40 p.m.-10 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: Nothing like some good old-fashioned broomball to get your blood pumping! Take the kids, take the wife; those of all ages welcome.
Cost: Free
Where/When: The Auricle, Canton's Live Music Venue, 601 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton; 11 p.m. Friday to 2:30 a.m. Saturday
Why Go: Long week? Work it out at the Auricle's indie dance night, which takes place every Friday. For those 21 years and older.
Cost: No cover charge
4. CARL LUNDGREN / CLASSIC ROCK POSTER SHOW
Where/When: First Row Centre for the Arts, 3140 State St. NW, North Canton; 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday
Why Go: Here's your chance to meet Carl Lundgren, a famous designer of classic rock posters. He's the guy who designed for groups like The Who, Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, Grace Slick and Fleetwood Mac.
Cost: Free
