The Best Florist In Town: Readers' Choice
Who's got the best bouquets, planters and floral arrangements in North Canton?
Local florists are there to witness many of life's milestones: a birth, a wedding or an anniversary; a passing or a promotion; an apology, a fancy dinner or prom.
With prom and graduation season upon us -- not to mention Mother's Day on May 13 -- we're thinking about the power of the flower. And did you know? This week is Administrative Professionals Week (formerly known as Professional Secretaries Week), a time to remind your secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists and other administrative support professionals that you can't do without them.
So this week's Readers' Choice focuses on florists. Beginning today -- Monday, April 23 and through 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, we'll be asking for your recommendations for who is the best florist in town -- the professionals who put together floral arrangements, planters and bouquets.
Give us your recommendation in the comments section below. With your help, we'll put together a list of nominees. Then look for our poll on Thursday, April 26 and vote! We'll select a winner at 5 p.m. Friday, April 27 and announce it in a story on Saturday, April 28.
In judging, we'll consider comments, poll votes and reviews in our complete directory of local businesses. Be sure to check out our contest rules in the PDF at right.

Kern's Florist on Cleveland Ave. Springfield. They have the best assortment and professional help that I have found in this area.

Patricia's on Portage did our wedding flowers, so they have a special place in my heart. The price was right and the bouquets they put together for us were gorgeous. I recommend them to everyone.

I wish I could nominate Cathy Cowgill's on Hills & Dales. They did a phenomenal job with my wedding flowers last year.
However, I've also done a lot of business at Patricia's and Ream & Co. for last minute arrangements & prom flowers. Sometimes Patricia's can be a little heavy with the glitter, which I don't think is always necessary... but when you ask for something specific, they both do a beautiful, professional job!

Above all the rest, A Victorian Reflection Antiques, Flowers and Gifts located in downtown Massillon, far exceeds each customers expectations. Several local flower shops have closed recently in the area, but this shop out shines them all for their beautiful work, courteous designers, beautiful merchandise. They offer vintage and newer costume jewelry, beautiful plants, spring wreaths swags, crystal, angels, vintage items and so much more............if you go there, plan to spend sone time just brousing..........you will love it....

Loving the nominations! Just want to make sure we're keeping them in North Canton, though. Anyone else want to suggest a floral shop in the city of North Canton?

I vote for Patricia's Floral on Portage in North Canton. They did my wedding in 2001 and everything was gorgeous! I have also used them for Mother's Day and recently for a funeral. Everytime:awesome customer service and beautiful fresh flowers.
