Zion Associate Pastor Gary Smith dressed up in period garb to run the "Potter's Wheel" shop. Items in the shop were donated by members and made from scratch.
Zion UCC set up more than a dozen shops with different themes for the Fall Festival.
One of the busiest shops was the jewelry shop. Lynn Smith (in red) and Faye Henley make sure the displays are in order.
The Garden Shop had items such as mums, decorative corn stalks and garden supplies.
Another popular spot for the Fall Festival was the bakery. All items for sale were made fresh by members of the church.

Zion United Church of Christ set up a small old-time shopping town and held three meals for its Old-Fashioned Fall Festival. The church hopes that this will be a biannual event.

Church members and staff donated their time and talents to run the fundraiser for Zion. There were old-time storefronts set up outside of the church, complete with workers in 1800s costumes. They sold items including jewelry, ice cream, books and candy.

The church also sold tickets to three meals served in the Beck Fellowship Hall in the basement of the church. They served 150 people per meal. Breakfast consisted of pancakes, sausage, coffee and orange juice. Lunch was creamed chicken sandwiches, German potato salad, salad and a beverage. The dinner meal was ham, potatoes, green beans and apple pie.
