Northeast Ohio police departments have been busy with plenty of outlandish offenses. Here are the weirdest reports of the week. All information was provided by police reports from departments in Patch communities.

No mani-pedi here: Charles Swinney wouldn't take 'no' for an answer when it came to his nails.

Mentor Police say the 43-year-old Cleveland man went into Asian Nails after several drinks and became irate when employees refused to give him a manicure and pedicure. He had a duffel bag with him and continually reached into it during the confrontation. That made four or five people scurry from the business.

He told police getting a mani-pedi was on his "bucket list."

He pleaded no contest to inducing panic and resisting arrest and was convicted in Mentor Municipal Court. The third charge of persistent disorderly conduct was dismissed.

Judge John Trebets sentenced him to 90 days in jail Wednesday but suspended 88 of those days. He got credit for two days and was fined $1,750 plus court costs.

Rolling around in the theater: Solon Police arrested an 18-year-old man for underage drinking after finding him laying on a sidewalk, covered in his vomit.

The man had been thrown out of Solon Cinemas for throwing up and removing his clothes during a movie. Police said employees removed him after he began rolling on the floor of a showing in an attempt to get his vomit-covered clothes off.

Not surprisingly, he told police he was really drunk and didn't know what was going on.

An ugly return: An Akron man believed an unsuccessful product return at Target was worth making threats.

Fairlawn police charged a 54-year-old man with menacing after several calls to the Fairlawn store in which he told an operator "I will get you" and "come to her house, knock down the (expletive) door and drag her to the cemetery in chains," according to police.

The calls began on June 7. He made them because the store would not accept a return for CD player the man didn't have a receipt for. He followed orders to turn himself in within 24 hours.

GetGoing, man — Giant Eagle told a man to get live up to the name of its gas station — GetGo.

Jeremy Thompson, 18, has been banned from the Twinsburg location for making threats to employees on June 6. When employees got him to leave, the man went to his car, where police arrested him for criminal trespassing.

He already had a warrant out in Streetsboro for failure to appear in court on drug charges. Twinsburg Police released him that night, but transferred him to Streetsboro.

You left something behind: Leaving your identification behind is the easiest way to get caught shoplifting.

Stow Police said a man did just that after he and another man tried to return purchases they didn't make at WalMart. The men picked up two end tables, valued at $170, and tried to return them. Customer service gave them a store credit, but after talking with an employee, the men left. One let his ID on the customer service desk.

The men face attempted theft charges.
