Hoover High School senior quarterback Austin Appleby now can be called an Elite 11 quarterback.
He competed against 23 of the country's top signal callers in a five-day event at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. The quarterbacks learned from coaches and ran drills — and it was publicized through ESPN High School.
