Head to the North Canton Playhouse this weekend to catch a glimpse of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, a Broadway-style play adapted from the late '80s movie staring Steve Martin and Micheal Caine. The music and lyrics were written by David Yazbek.

The play tells the story of two crooks who meet while trying to fleece women out of their money. They come to the conclusion that there is only room for one of them in the small French town and decide on a contest to determine who gets to stay.

Mary McManaway directs this play at the North Canton Playhouse with musical direction by Dr. Britt Cooper. Scoundrels features members of the Genesius Players Drama Troupe at Walsh University. Choreography and musical staging is by Brenton Cochran.

The show's remaining run is at 8 p.m. tonight through Saturday.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Admission is free with a Walsh ID. The North Canton Playhouse is located inside Hoover High School at 525 7th St. NE.
