Akron-Canton Airport Ushers in Southwest Airlines with Super Fan Party
CAK fans got the royal treatment this weekend as they took part in a celebratory pie-eating contest and watched the first Southwest Airlines plane land

The Akron-Canton Airport celebrated the arrival of Southwest Airlines Saturday and welcomed in their "super fans" for the shindig.
The fans got a chance to participate in and watch a pie-eating contest among champs like Brandon Tidd, our own Patch ad manager, and the winner of last year's CAK Fan Vs. Food Challenge, Brian "Big Tuna" Thaxton.
