The North Canton Police Department wants to advise motorists to avoid traveling on 100 to 400 block of Everhard Road SW Monday, August 20, 2012, due to a water line repair project. Water district personnel will begin work at 4:00 am. and should be completed by noon.

The major repair work will be at the intersection with Westfield Ave. S.W. going north. The westbound lanes of Everhard Rd. S.W. will be closed to thru traffic at S. Main Street. Residents on Cornell Ave. S.W. and Ambler Ave. S.W. will be assisted onto Everhard Rd. S.W. eastbound only. The eastbound curb lane of Everhard Rd. S.W. will be open to thru traffic to S. Main Street.

Police officers and water district employees will be directing traffic in that area. Motorists should expect some delays or plan an alternate route for their travels during that time.
