The Academic Challenge teams closed their league dual season in January.  The JV team was undefeated with a 9-0 record and the Varsity team won the league title of "Tri County Academic League 2013 Champion" with a 10-1 record.  This title earns them a spot in the regional competition that will be held in April.

On January 30th the varsity team traveled to Sandy Valley High School for the league tournament where they ended up in first place.  Mrs. Roberta McGovern from Stark County Friends of the Library presented individual medals and a team trophy to the team members for being the "Tri County Academic League 2013 Tournament Champion".   The team also brought home two more trophies that night from the league.  One was for earning the league champion title and the other for winning the tournament.

The varsity team consists of seniors Dana Cressman, John Desrosiers, Joel Coblentz, Matt Masin, Rob Barbush and juniors Jacob Huba and Madison Plaster.

The JV team members are juniors: Graham Arnold, Sam Blike, Joel Elkins, Naomi Kasturiarachi, Malorie Spencer; sophomores: Shreyas Chaudhari, Molly Wrisht, Sophie Cressman; and Freshman Trent Cash.
